We got back into San Diego on Tuesday Night. It took us 24 hours of straight driving to get here. It was crazy mad driving. Yeah I stopped for something to drink and eat, for gas, but other than that, we didn't even rest. 4000 Miles driven in one week is way too many miles on my Benz. Way too many miles on any car in a week. It felt like we were truck drivers or something.

Anyway, something funny did happen along the way. In Oregon you aren't allowed to pump your own gas. It's like New Jersey. You stop at a gas station, wait for a attendant to pump your gas. Only two states in the entire USA (Oregon and NJ) do this. Everywhere else you pump your own gas. Makes things easier at 2am when you just swipe your card, pump the gas, and go on your way. Well after driving from like 12am to 7am I pull into a gas station right outside of California. Probably like 60 miles from California actually. And like I've been used to doing it for 2 years now, I get out of my car and try to pump some gas. Except this time an alarm goes off and Alicia said some woman ran out of the store looking like she had a heart attack. I was tired of driving and not thinking and she started to explain how she was sorry that she wasn't out here and all this other nonesense. Suddenly it hit me.... Oh crap I'm in Oregon... I'm not allowed to pump the gas myself...... So other than that it was a good trip back to our new home. We got a new computer desk today... and they delivered it. It seems kind of big though.
